The photo needs to fulfill the same rules as for a drivers license and passports.
The head and upper shoulder should occupy 70-80% of the photo.
No dark or colored glasses.
No hat, helmet or other head covering are allowed. Exceptions can be given for religious reasons, provided that the entire face is visible.
