Verified Workforce

Documented check result for identity and right to work

Verified Workforce

A check result issued by Sistec

Verified Workforce is a person-linked result following a Right to Work check. The result shows which identity and evidence of the right to work were reviewed within the specific assignment.

How to read the result

  • Check date:when was the check performed?
  • Scope and status:what was reviewed and what result is reported?
  • Document validity:which dates and limitations need to be considered?
  • Follow-up:have circumstances changed or is additional evidence needed?

What the result does not establish

  • It is not a general background check.
  • It does not show that every requirement at a particular workplace is met.
  • It does not guarantee that circumstances remain unchanged after the check.
  • It does not replace the employer’s or client’s decision.

What the result covers

Read the status together with the check date, scope and validity of the documents examined. Circumstances can change after a check. The employer decides on employment and access and assesses the need for follow-up.

Sharing requires a defined purpose

Before sharing results or photos, the client needs to establish a lawful basis, recipients and necessary information. Limit access and disclosure to the assignment’s needs. Sharing, retention and follow-up terms should form part of the agreed arrangement.

Specify the checking need in procurement

Specify the checks and records required, how recent they must be and how results should be reported. Verified Workforce does not replace assessment of procurement requirements or other workplace duties. Review wording and follow-up with the procurement owner.

Plan the follow-up

Decide which changes and expiry dates should trigger a new assessment. The need depends on the role, workplace requirements and evidence reviewed. If you need support from Sistec, agree its scope and responsibilities as part of the assignment.

How Right to Work works

Who uses the result?

For employers

Read the result alongside the role requirements before deciding on employment.

For clients

Assess scope, currency and missing evidence before granting access.

For procurement organisations

Define your checks and how evidence should be presented, without assuming a particular seal is required.

For the person checked

Questions about a completed check and the information in the result should be directed to the client who ordered the check, as they own the result.
