Discuss ServiceID+In cleaning and facility services the work is often done outside office hours, in premises where nobody from the client is present. The client sees the result but never the person.
That turns identity into a procurement question. A buyer who wants to know who holds the key to the premises needs to be able to require it in the contract, not hope for it.
ServiceID+ is the industry's recognised credential: a card issued only when the identity has been verified and the right to work has been checked.
How to write it into the contract
Require verified identity, not identification. The difference is whether the document was machine-checked or merely shown.
Make the requirement apply to subcontractors. Otherwise the main supplier satisfies it and it lapses at the second tier.
Ask for monitoring, not a certificate. A work permit valid at contract start says nothing about the situation a year in.
Require traceability. After an incident the question is who was on site, not who won the tender.

Identity check in person
The employee visits one of our service centres. The document is read and the face is matched against it.
Right to work is checked
Work and residence permits are checked against the authorities before the card is issued.
The card is issued and monitored
The card is valid as long as its basis is. Expiring permits are flagged in advance.
